What is Medicine Compounding?

Compounding medicine first started in the 19th century and has been a long-established tradition in the pharmacy practice ever since, allowing doctors and veterinarians to prescribe medicines which have been specially prepared by highly trained compounding pharmacists to meet patients individual needs.

With a growing number of patients showing unique health needs that off-the-shelf prescription medicines cannot meet, prescribers are now turning to compounded medication.

Compounded medications ordered by physicians or veterinarians are prepared by highly trained, licensed compounding pharmacists in our on site laboratories to meet the unique needs of each person or animal.

Flavours

We have a wide range of flavours available for compounding with Human & Veterinarian medications.

Flavouring medication that patients or animals may find unpleasant increases palatability and eases the administering process, doing this can reduce stress for both patients and pet owners.
